I aim to make my classes straight forward in my approach as best i can. For me it is about exploring with you, your body and the asanas, questions can always be asked, before, during or after class and

i will do my best to make it simple understandable and relevant. (With just enough frills to make it fun, most classes have some kind of background music.)

Modifications are key. If you have a limitation or injury, let me know , often times we can work with it or around it , modify and work with your body.

What you can expect from my classes?

Whether they are chill or really challenging, I do my best to be myself, and keep in mind we are all different, in our reasons for practicing, in our bodies.  I aim to be light hearted, inclusive & non judgmental Do i care you come in crabby, no make up, tired, don't feel like talking? Nope! We are all here to work it out! No need to preform or be anything other than the way you are now. Happy, sad, ready to crush a work out or barely making it through the door! You're welcome in my classes! And i do my best to create that atmosphere between students, do your own thing,,, and... we are all in this class together! Class camaraderie!

I have had the privilege to study with many amazing teachers and was certified to teach (ytt 200) by Clayton Horton, of Greenpath yoga, a   yoga society of San Francisco shri bramananda sarasvati school , 200 hr ashtanga 8 limbs training, registered through yoga alliance. And have taken many other continuing training courses and certifications, among are Mindfulness Resilience ytt; Mindful Yoga for Trauma Recovery. This is a training started for veterans, military (& law enforcement,) with principals encompassing trauma from any event, addiction, depression and anxiety informed techniques.  (Yoga Alliance.) I also love & practice meditation, which really blankets and encompasses what yoga is! I have sat 2+ 10 day S.N. Goenka vipassana meditation retreats, and that was really what anchored me into the practice. I am certified in "iam" meditation through amritananda math, and have completed the "art of being human" level one training in shambhala meditation.

I am also certified in massage from San Francisco school of massage.

Teachers who inspire me? There are so many, especially among the less known!  Here are some famous influential inspiring teachers:
