All Levels Slow Flow

This strength-building vinyasa practice is geared toward newer students as well as those who wish to explore the postures at a slower pace.  We will be examining the components of sun salutations and some common standing and seated postures, all while keeping our attention on breath and alignment.

Introductory/Beginner's Vinyasa Thursday 3:30-4:45p

We will be breaking down the basic poses and exploring the alignment and modifications of a vinyasa practice.  This a great class for beginners and the student who wants to get a better understanding of alignment in specific postures.

Hi yogis! I’m proud to be certified RYT-200 and excited to be holding classes here at Yoga One. In the training I took special interest in safety, alignment, and modifications. My hope (besides providing a rewarding experience to our members and all who visit Yoga One!) is to help bring yoga to members of our community who might otherwise feel that they cannot do yoga. As a physical practice yoga can have the power to strengthen the body, improve posture, and restore mobility. In the mind it can be uplifting and bring a sense of peace and clarity.

Out in the world, I can also be found tending the flower beds at Alexandria Golf Club and doing volunteer work with the U of M Master Gardeners program.
