 Straight Up Vinyasa
Love a straight up vinyasa class? We will be incorporating smooth vinyasa flow transitions with strong standing poses and balancing postures. This class will be a balance of flowing postures and static (held) poses to get us into that perfect mix of flexibility and strength.
Tuesdays 3:00 – 4:15 pm starting June 4th.

Lunch Hour Continuous Flow

This class is designed for those practitioners who want a complete and continuous flow class with minimal cueing or pose instruction.  We will pair one breath with one movement and flow through the vinyasa sequences at a moderate and steady pace.  No long pose holds or pauses to break down a posture.  This class is for those practitioners who want to get on their mat and work it out through steady even movement.  Because there will be minimum cueing or pose instruction a good understanding of alignment and asana is suggested.

Wednesdays 12:00 to 1:00 pm starting June 5th.

Beginner Vinyasa 

If you are new to yoga or have been practicing awhile and want to work on your form, this Wed evening class is for you. We will be spending time exploring the basic poses of a vinyasa flow and learning and utilizing modifications and props to help make all the poses accessible to any age or body type.

Wednesdays 5:45 - 7:00 pm

(time changes to 5:30 - 6:45 starting June 5th)

No Flow Yoga

Each Asana is an individual pose and we will move through the poses individually with-out flow.  If the phrase “take a vinyasa” (the sequence of plank, chaturanga, up dog) makes you cringe, REJOICE in the knowledge that there will be no vinyasas!  Modifications and propping will be explored in all key postures.  This class will have a good balance of strengthening, stretching and restorative poses and is appropriate for all levels of practitioners. (Great for beginners.)

Thursdays 9:00 -10:15 am Starting June 6th.

My name is Tammy and I live in Carlos, MN.  I am a 200 hr yoga alliance certified instructor and took my training here at YogaOne.

I’m so excited to be able to share my passion for yoga here at Yoga One. 

One of the things I love most about yoga is its ability to be a completely unique experience to every individual practicing, every single time.  

We humans come in all shapes, sizes and ability levels and we all, every single one of us, can experience a safe, effective, healthy yoga practice.  By exploring the basic poses, breaking down placement and alignment, using props and modifications any person - regardless of age and body type - can practice yoga.  You don’t have to be able to execute a perfect down dog, warrior 2 or even touch your toes.  

Yoga is available to everyone! All you need to do is show up!  So if you are considering beginning a yoga practice, but have doubts about your abilities, I invite you to take a leap of faith with me and try yoga now. Also feel free to reach out to myself or YogaOne, perhaps we can help you through your first time trepidation.
