How do we create a yoga experience that welcomes everyone to the mat? In this intensive workshop we will focus on pose modifications, the use of props and a variety or transitions to breakdown barriers that might keep class from being accessible to everyone. For people who are new to yoga, yogis who are building their practice and for teachers helping guide students in class, these tools are invaluable.
Together we will slow down and dive in to yoga, with time spent in meditation, flow, and adding in some yin and restorative poses for good measure. We will also spend time in community discussing the importance of offering yoga for all. We will take a break midway through our time together to recharge and we will also leave plenty fo space for questions. If you are curious how to modify your practice or help your students do so this is a great way opportunity to learn more.
This 3 hour workshop is $75 per individual in advance ($90 same day registration.)
